Do you really need a new PC? Often that is not the case, a little extra memory, an extra hard drive, or DVD/CDR is all that is really needed.
Ergonomic upgrades
One simple upgrade is simply an optical mouse! Then at last the pointer will at last go in the direction you move your hand. No more pulling the mouse apart simply to clean the rollers, which, lets face it, is never done when you are in the best of moods!
Add a flat screen, and wow, you'll have most of your desk back in a single move. The clarity, lack of reflection off of the screen (how often do you squint at the screen in the afternoon sun?) and according to some clients your posture is improved as a result!
Replacing a tired keyboard not only improves the look of your system, but often the increased functionality and ergonomic design may increase staff productivity.
